Here are some comments that I received regarding the 2003 La Luz Trail Run.
La Luz was EXCELLENT!! Fast times,
superior volunteers, Super shirts (I would like a M please?) and great pre
and post race newspaper articles WITH pictures. A+++++
The La Luz run was really fun--thanks!!!
I placed first in Masters but could not stay for the awards because we had
to pick up our three boys from the babysitter. If there is a ribbon or
award that I could pick up from you, could you please let me know? Then I
could prove to my disbelieving children that I really did run it!
Thanks again for the wonderful race. You put on a really great event!
Thank you again for a nice La Luz race this year. Good job. You and your
team did an excellent job
Dear Rodger,
Thank you for a great time last Sunday. My husband (Mark Ledyard) and I
travelled from Asheville, NC to Albuquerque specifically for the race and
we weren't disappointed. I run quite a few trail races here in the
southeast, and La Luz ranks right up there with the most challenging.
Thanks especially to the support crews along the trail. Their
encouragement and smiles were appreciated. Registration for my
favorite trail race around here (The Shut-In Ridge Trail Race) should
start in September. I highly recommend it for any of your members who
might like to visit the mountains of North Carolina.

Mr Director, Just a quick note to THANK YOU and all your helpers for putting on another great LA LUZ RUN. You put a lot of effort into it the T-shirts are really neat, beautiful colors and display. Until next year........................
